About Us

Acres of Opportunity Ranch (AOR) is a “Second Chance Organization.” AOR partners with horses that have been rescued or partially retired in attempt to educate the community about horses.  This effort helps minimize the number of horses that are “thrown away” due to lack of understanding and financial means to care for a horse.

AOR provides a loving and safe place for people of all ages to come and enjoy horses on a level that works for both the horse and the human, physically and mentally.

AOR takes pride in the fact that every program horse owned by AOR has in some way been rescued and rehabilitated by either AOR or the donors of AOR. This means that every program horse has been given a second chance to contribute to the education of our community in the best way they can.
